HANNAH MUCHA
Hannah Mucha grew up in The Woodlands, TX and started training in classical ballet when she was 6 years old. She was educated under the ABT National Training Curriculum syllabus at Excelsior School of Ballet where she trained under instructors such as former Royal New Zealand Ballet Principle, Richard Bowman. As an apprentice with Ballet Excelsior of Houston, Hannah traveled on three international tours throughout high school. She later attended Belhaven University where she studied Vagonova technique under instructors such as Laura Morton, Robert Wesner and former Royal Ballet principle, Ravenna Tucker-Wagnon. She performed various solo and ensemble works under faculty and guest artists such as former Doug Varone member Ryan Corriston and former Paul Taylor 2 and Bruce Wood Dance member Gabriel Speiller. In the summer of 2021, she had the pleasure of working with 6 o'Clock Dance Theatre as a company apprentice. Hannah has attended a number of intensives and workshops where she studied under choreographers and companies including Norbert De La Cruz III, Madison Hicks, Dallas Black Dance Theatre, Bruce Wood Dance, and Eisenhower Dance Detroit. The Belhaven dance faculty awarded her both the Bezelel Award for Outstanding Artistic Achievement, and the Daniel Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement for the highest Cumulative GPA of the 2022 graduating dance majors. Hannah graduated from Belhaven in April of 2022 Summa Cum Laude with NHSDA Honors (National Honors Society For Dance Arts).
