Claire Fugate

Claire Fugate began her early ballet training at Barbara’s Conservatory of Dance in Topeka, Kansas. She later earned her BFA in Dance with an Associates in Exercise Sciences in 2022 from the University of Missouri- Kansas City under the direction of Paula Weber, DeeAnna Hiet, Gary Abbott, Ronald Tice, Tempe Ostragren, and many others. In that time, Claire has had the pleasure to train with companies such as Kansas City Ballet, Martha Graham Modern Dance, Oklahoma City Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet. She has also been featured in events from the Kansas City Crescendo Gala to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. This will be her second season with NWA Ballet Theatre.
